Tova is a first-year Master's student at the University of Alabama who is seeking a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. She completed her undergrad education at Scripps College in May of 2020, where she majored in Religious Studies and double-minored in Psychology and German Studies. After taking three years between her BA and MS to gain research experience at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and get involved with victim advocacy work within the Wake County Court system, Tova is excited to dive into research that focuses on courtroom psychosocial dynamics as well as the jury selection and deliberation processes.
