The Scott Deaton Endowed Scholarship in Criminal Justice

Established to honor the memory of Scott Deaton, the Scott Deaton Endowed Scholarship in Criminal Justice promotes academic excellence for students majoring in criminal justice in the College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Alabama. Students who receive this award are considered to be in good academic standing during their junior and senior year while majoring in criminal justice at The University of Alabama. In addition, these students come from states comprising the members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Consideration of the award is determined by outstanding leadership abilities.

The James (Bo) Robertson Distinguished Undergraduate Award for Highest Academic Performance

This award is presented to students who have demonstrated superior academic performance and who are majoring in criminal justice in the College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Alabama.

The Chairperson’s Award of Merit

This scholarship is awarded annually to a student chosen by the department chair.
