Olivia is a second year Masters student at the University of Alabama seeking a degree in Criminology. She completed her Bachelor's degree at the University of Alabama, majoring in Criminology & Criminal Justice with a minor in Cyber Criminology with summa cum laude honors. She was a part of the Accelerated Master’s Program during the senior year of her undergraduate studies. Her thesis is based on examining how families are impacted by incarceration and how these manifests in terms of loss and aspirations/goals pertaining to their futures outside of being incarcerated. Her research interests revolve around incarceration and collateral consequences of incarceration.
