Emily is a first year Masters student at the University of Alabama who is seeking a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. She completed her undergraduate at Western Kentucky University in May 2023, obtaining a Bachelors in Forensic Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Criminology. Her current research interests revolve around correctional psychology and prison reform, specifically the impact of institutionalization on the mental health of correctional workers and the incarcerated population.
