This year’s focus is legal careers. Our guests are Jim Noe, partner at Jones Walker, who graduated with a BA in CJ and Sociology in 1993, and Judge Nyya Parson-Hudson, who received her Masters of CJ in 1996 and sits on the Birmingham Municipal Court. The event will be held in North Lawn room 2008
This semester Alpha Phi Sigma and the Criminal Justice Student Association are collecting donations for the Tuscaloosa Day Reporting Center. We will collect items up to February 28th at 4pm. Dr. Tom Holt, professor and cyber criminologist from Michigan State, will be visiting UA on Friday, March 6th. He will be giving a talk entitled “Examining the Threat of Cyberterror and Ideologically Motivated Hacks” from 3-4 pm in Lloyd 222.
