Dr. Lankford Invited to Germany to Speak on Suicide Terrorism

Dr. Lankford recently visited the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Garmisch, Germany, where he shared his research findings on suicide terrorism.

The Marshall Center runs a five week program on Terrorism and Security Studies for military and civilian officials from around the world.  Participants represented defense, security, and foreign affairs agencies from 39 countries, including Afghanistan, Armenia, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Colombia, Congo (Kinshasa), Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lebanon, Macedonia, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, the Palestinian Territories, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, the United States, and Uruguay.

Dr. Lankford spoke on February 17, 2011 and then took part in seminar discussions.
