Dr. Bronwen Lichtenstein was recently elected President of the International Sociological Association’s Research Committee on Sociology of Mental Health and Illness.
The committee, which was first established in 1959, promotes scholarly disquisition and research collaboration at the international level.
Dr. Lichtenstein received this honor at the ISA World Congress of Sociology, which was held in Gothenburg, Sweden in July 2010.
