Focusing on the sale of private, confidential, and personal data, this chapter delves into the issue of online stolen data marketplaces, with an overview on the types of products available on these marketplaces to detailed discussions on the operations of such marketplaces. This chapter concludes with suggestions for future research to address the increasingly creative techniques and mechanisms employed by criminal actors.
