Interning with the Huntsville police during my undergrad was a very rewarding experience.

Where is your hometown?
The hometown I am from is Granger Indiana, though I have lived in multiple locations throughout my life and view them all as homes in one way or another.
What is your favorite CCJ class?
I would like to say I very much enjoy the broad range of topics offered, and the expertise with which each topic was covered.
What do you expect to do after you graduate?
Due to the good fortune of working with Dr. Dolliver and her team at the Joint Electronic Crimes Task Force, I have a few options when it comes to a career path.

Anything else you would like to share?
I can’t thank my mentors, advisors, supervisors, and professors enough for guiding me down the path I have traveled. If it were not for the CCJ faculty and staff, the team at the J.E.C.T.F., my friends, and the families that I have been “adopted” into while at U.A., I would not be the same person I am today.
I could not have asked for a more fulfilling and beneficial college experience than what God has blessed me with here at the University of Alabama.

Attend a graduate program for my PsyD. In clinical psychology with a forensic concentration

I’ve volunteered with Turning Point Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Services for 2 years now, and I’m a Behavioral Health Specialist (68X) in the US Army Reserves. I’m also a model in the latest edition of Alice magazine:)

What is your favorite CCJ class?
I thoroughly enjoyed a class called Criminal Justice in the Media, taught by Ms. Treadway
When do you expect to graduate?
I expect to graduate in May of 2020.
Anything else you would like to share?
I have very much enjoyed my 4 years here at The University of Alabama. Ever since my first day of classes, as a Freshman, UA has felt like a second home to me. I love the camaraderie of the students and faculty, especially when it comes to sporting events. As a student with diagnosed learning differences, I was able to thrive in an environment of higher education. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to learn under committed instructors with an expertise in this in this discipline. I am thankful for their dedication to their work and to their instruction of students. I am honored to accept this award and I send much appreciation to my family and friends who have been fierce advocates and instrumental in my success, and to the CJ instructors who dedicated their time to ensure a meaningful learning experience.

I will graduate in the summer of 2020
After graduation, I plan to go to law school. I will take some time to study for the LSAT and then apply to law school. I would like to pursue a career in criminal law.
My favorite criminal justice class was CJ100 because I really enjoyed my professor. He was the reason I decided to pursue a career in law.
