Omobolanle Fenny joined the University of Alabama’s Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2023. She received her Ph.D. in Criminology from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2018. She is a member of both the Alabama State Bar and the Nigerian Bar Association. She teaches Race, Ethnicity and Crime, History of Crime and Justice, and Research Methods. She is also a member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. Her research interests include Juvenile Delinquency, Gender, Race and Crime, Domestic Violence, International Criminology, and Religion. Her publications appear in the International Journal of Offender Therapy and Comparative Criminology and the Journal of Interpersonal Violence.”
