Student Andrea Jacks, who serves as president of our department’s honor society (Alpha Phi Sigma) and our Criminal Justice Student Association, completed a prestigious internship with the U.S. Marshals Service.
As she recounts, “I learned firsthand about the agency’s critical mission to protect our judicial system. I had the opportunity to observe federal court proceedings, assist in court security testing, and participate in tactical training simulations. I also spoke with a wide range of federal employees including law enforcement officers from multiple agencies and legal professionals.”
“This experience solidified my interest in pursuing a career in federal law enforcement, and it provided me with lasting guidance on ways I can achieve that goal. I am very thankful for my time with the Marshals, and I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in working with federal law enforcement!”
Great job Andrea! We’re excited to see what you accomplish next!
